Above Marina Grande, Villa Astor brings together a cliffside setting, classical art, and a botanical garden that feels like a world apart.
Its 20,000-square-meter garden holds more than 1,000 plant species. Beyond the paths and antique sculptures, terraces look across the Bay of Naples toward Mount Vesuvius.

History, held
in every detail.
William Waldorf Astor acquired the property in 1905, expanding its grounds and shaping the garden’s classical character. Today, interiors by Jacques Garcia sit alongside Greek and Roman antiquities, marble, frescoes, and period furniture.
The villa is a private estate, not a walk-in museum. Its six main-villa suites, grotto, and private sea access are features of the property—not a promise of guest accommodation or included wedding activities.
A note for planning: garden paths and access toward the sea involve stairs and uneven terrain. Please discuss access needs with the hosts before making arrangements.
